I love these plates!
Just look at how the food isn't touching!

@hellomiakoda It's such an odd preoccupation. We have veggie sausage each Sunday and I move the sausage away from ketchup I put on the plate, then take pieces and dip them to eat. 🤷🏽‍♂️

@RegGuy
If the ketchup is already on it, there's too much variation in the ketchup coverage!
Diping each piece increase the chances at least SOME of them will be the correct ketchup to sausage ratio, and it'll improve with practice!

@hellomiakoda Yes! Saying that to an NT makes it sound weird to them, but to us, it is perfectly logical and consistent.

@RegGuy
One of the reasons I am glad I'm not an NT.
Sure, dinner is probably easier for them to make, but they just eat it. Do they really enjoy it? Probably not.

Watching an NT look at me sideways and say he doesn't get it, while I gush about my Model M keyboard, followed about all the ways his [piece of mushy crap] works fine is what kicked off my appreciation for being autistic AF.
I may struggle to get groceries, and nearly died when the house was packed with Yule guests...
But...

@RegGuy

I get to experience actual joy from clacky *cleats throat* CATASTROPHICALLY BUCKLING COMPRESSION COLUMN AND ACTUATOR keyboard and perfectly ketcuped sausage!

FFS, look how much fun I have just saying
🎆🔥💣CATASTROPHICALLY BUCKLING COMPRESSION COLUMN AND ACTUATOR!!! 💣🔥🎆

@hellomiakoda The joy we get from details and delving into stuff is beyond what an NT can comprehend. I do think that all great scientists past and present are ND in one form or another.

I watched a video the other day and an astrophysicist was talking about how the known universe is unimaginably large. There are approximately 2 trillion galaxies, each with probably 400 billion stars. A number that is so large that the mind can't begin to comprehend it.

@hellomiakoda I don't suffer from the "food touching" problem, but these are three foods I would not want to touch, so I certainly see the advantage.
