As we head in to the new year, I want to say something to all of you I interact with on here....

I appreciate you. From those I got to know so well they now live in my house, to those who haven't gotten closer than online aquaintance, and everything in between, you've contributed positively to this thing we apparently call my life.
I hope I contribute in some way to yours.

Thank you for continuing to be here.
Happy is a very tall order given the circumstances, so...
Have a survivable 2025!

It has been my pleasure and honour to interact with you here, and to read your posts. Even if most of them are in this strange arcane tongue, that I don't understand, and that seem to be referring to some possessed and possibly demonic devices of an obviously dark and sinister purpose.
I truly hope that 2025 isn't the complete shit-show, that so many fear and that, if anything, it turns out well for you.

If it's a shit show, and things go horribly, at least I'm not going down alone.

I do think I'm at least in as good a position to make it through as is available to me. It's a blue state, there's blue states above and below, I have friends who care about me - even when I drive them bonkers, and those friends seem to be better able to navigate the upcoming nightmare better than I - and I have strengths that are helpful to them to free up energy for them to handle that nightmare.

@hellomiakoda
These are all good things. But, it also pays to remember that with your skill sets, you are not entirely powerless to help.

@pathfinder
How my skills can help aren't something I'm able to see at the moment. 😔

@hellomiakoda
Hackers can only hack, if their machines work. People can only communicate, if they have secure systems to do so and that's not just code, but built hardware, or the knowledge how to do it. I think you underestimate the skills you have with the technology that I describe as arcane and magic, because I don't have a clue. This is not even touching upon your mind and intellect and ability to see and prepare for things and to not just realise that there is no box, but the ways to confuse and confound those who insist it exists and can't see beyond it.
