Look. Apple definitely has Mountian Dew on campus. The company orders Mountain Dew. I’m nearly absolutely certain of it. Maybe not every drink the company orders is available at the same place but it’s on campus. I can almost guarantee there are some departments that have requested it and get it delivered to their departments. The campus has it.
Small correction. The literal quote is:
“That he drinks Diet Mountain Dew, though not as much as he once did, because Apple doesn’t stock his favorite soda.”
That could mean they don’t stock Diet Mountain Dew and that’s why he doesn’t drink it as much. It could mean they don’t stock his favorite so this is his backup. (I think it’s the former.)
My point is this: whatever his favorite soda is, the only reason the campus doesn’t stock it is because he didn’t ask for it. lol
@louie I thought the story was that Tim Cook’s favorite soda isn’t stocked on campus, so he drinks Mountain Dew instead? (or at least that’s how I interpreted the snippet from the WSJ article)
@alexpadilla the thing is: he’s the CEO. He can order whatever he wants to be stocked on campus. That he wouldn’t have whatever his favorite soda is (whether it’s Mountain Dew or not) is simply up to him.
