I've known claw machines have varying power sent to the claws, but being able to program in target revenue? Ridiculous.

This is something I always sort of wondered about but my brain just stopped at "oh, some people are puppeteering it." It's great to see this sort of behind-the-scenes wizardry.

You're probably thinking "But, being a mermaid wouldn't be a curse!".
Maybe. But just imagine, giving up you life and everything you know to live in the sea. Where sharks are. And cooked food isn't.
I think being a mermaid would be harder than people think.
I hope someone's working on a stage production of this.
Sliding back into Mastodon for a bit. Got hit with New Twitter and seriously thought my browser was loading a mobile site. I know there's usually uproar around UI revamps, but honestly what were they thinking?
Either Twitter doesn't understand how people use it, or with mass adoption that use has changed for the majority of users.
I think it would be great to have text-focused tweets with minimal images in chronological feeds. And I guess that's why I fired up Mastodon again :)
I feel like CG effects and animation has opened up an unfortunate pandora's box. When the sky is the limit, it stifle's a unique kind of innovation. It keeps people from being scrappy and inventive and encourages just throwing "more" at eyeballs. You want a 100' tall Christmas tree with giant hand-made ornaments? You got it! You want a three-tiered city connected with toboggan runs? You got it! You want giant expanding shoes to walk from roof to roof? You got it!
